Kate came to me when I was trying to get my house ready to sell, and I was really struggling, as I'm a lifelong collector of 'stuff'! The worst part of the house was the loft. Kate recently advised us on how to declutter our kitchen. It is quite small and since starting a family we didn’t have a proper place for everything and it felt very disorganised. Kate immediately put us at ease (despite the mess!)
We went through everything together systematically. The process was much quicker and more decisive than if we had tried to tackle it by ourselves. Kate put forward solutions that we hadn’t thought of, undertook most of the decluttering process there and then, and gave us a list of simple ideas to implement afterwards.
The end result is that our kitchen feels like a brand new space. Everything is now in a much better position so that we can easily see and access the things that we use regularly. The objects that are important to us (a handmade mug from my toddler, items we collected whilst travelling etc.) have been given places where they are safe and on display.

I really recommend Caroline's services and she really helped me as a single mum of 2 under 4. Caroline is really great at what she does. She is very compassionate and kind, as well as full of practical tips and tricks. The time spent together is so valuable and she will take any unwanted items away and you know they are going to good homes which is so helpful for me. But even more than this for me is the mindset shift. When my children outgrow something I will decide if I'm keeping for a while or donating/selling early on and I've been much better at only allowing things in my home which add value and have a home. Had an amazing experience with A Tidy Mind. They came and reorganized my entire closet and unpacked some suitcases. They set up a perfectly organized system that is easy to follow and maintain. I will definitely use them again in the future when it comes time to transition my closet from summer to winter.
I'd been thinking I needed help with decluttering and organising my home for years really if I'm honest... but the thought of having someone in and possibly judging me and my lack of organisation (and hoarding tendencies 😳) made me delay reaching out. ADHD makes it a struggle to get organised and keep on top of things but then things started to really get me down during the Covid lockdowns.
I eventually made the brave move to contact Eileen after a friend recommended her. We had a chat and I then booked a session to start the process of decluttering and organising my home. I'm SO glad I did!!!
The most difficult part was just getting started... just arranging that first session. It's been wonderful working with Eileen over the months and getting my home back bit by bit. I can now sit and relax without being distracted by clutter all around me. The best bit is that everything now has a home so it's easier to keep my home tidy and things I haven't used in years are now easily accessible so I can actually use them!
Eileen is such a lovely lady. She really listens and tries to understand her clients' needs and tailor her services to them. I have ADHD and physical health conditions too, which have made it difficult for me to keep on top of things over recent years. I felt incredibly overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Eileen actually attended a course to help her better understand clients with ADHD (I suspect there are a lot of us!) so she could understand and support them better! She is totally non-judgemental and put me at ease from the first session.
Even though I am on a tight budget, having Eileen visit and help me is a form of self care and has made SUCH a difference. Longer lasting benefits than having your hair or nails done! My advice to anyone thinking about starting the process is to just make that call and book a session. You won't regret it!!

I’m so pleased that I chose Eileen to help me get our home in order. We are a neurodiverse household with terrible executive functioning. Eileen has helped us to minimise our belongings in a gentle non judgemental way, and to store them in ways that are practical for our brains (I’m probably ADHD as well as the kids being autistic). She didn’t send me out to buy tons of supplies and worked with what we had.
The highlight has been Eileen’s visit this week…
Our eldest child is autistic and extremely anxious. She asked if Eileen could help with her little bedroom. For three hours, with a couple of breaks, my daughter worked with the very patient Eileen and went through everything in her room, lots of teenage things, clothes, food, art supplies, many many plushies and at the end she’d been able to part with the “not quite so special” things and was happy with her newly organised room where you can “actually see the floor”
I’d highly recommend her to anyone, especially people who struggle with untidiness, struggle to focus and have problems with remembering.

It was a lucky day when we found Maria. Over the last few weeks she has been decluttering out house with us. I feel we could not have chosen anyone better to help us. Maria doesn't apply pressure or bring her own agenda in. The helps us make decisions that are right for us. Maria also take the items away for redistribution which is brilliant. She also help rearrange and reorganise things. She has come up with ideas that we would not have thought of. She is also a joy to work with due to her sense of humour.
For years I procrastinated over tidying. Things built up over the years and with a busy job and 3 kids I just didn't get around to it. I found that my decluttering muscle became stronger as we worked together and I found it easier to let go. Maria is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to donating and recyling things which I appreciate too.
Due to the expereince of working with a professional organiser, I have experienced improvments in my mental health and a reduction in shame. The house is tidier of course but there are so many other benefits.
For maintainence, I now see Maria monthly basis. We rotate around different parts of the house. This is something that keeps me on track and will continue using this valuable service. I highly recommend Maria and this service is worth every penny. Everyone needs a Maria in their life.
For the past 10 months, we have been working with Adele. I can't recommend her more highly. Myself and my Wife have disabilities. There were piles of belongings and we could not find homes for things. Our things just filled one particular entire room and we could not see how to get to the point of being organised and making it into my Wife's studio. Adele put in place solutions in line with our needs and disabilities. My Wife is autistic and one of her struggles is having people in her home and handing her things. Adele sensitively worked with her and kept the pace comfortable. She showed consistent empathy and attuned to our needs. I'm pleased to say that the house functions now and my Wife's studio is set up. I know we would not have been able to do this on our own. Adele has also respected the fact that we are not minimalists and want to keep plenty of our things. I admit I was nervous about Adele coming in and telling me to get rid of everything but that's not how it was. Adele creatively helped is organise and optimise the space by finding logical places for things. She put systems in place to keep things tidy. Regarding the things we decided to declutter, she took them away which was great as we don't have the energy, time or ability for this task.
Just go for it if you are considering working with Adele. She will help you and it is worth every penny.
Adele helped me by emptying a property when the owner had moved into residential care. She took a real sensitive and compassionate approach when it came to dealing with the treasured possessions. Adele is so logical and organised and her help was invaluable. She donated things to local charities and she even project managed things by arranging for electricians to come in. She was excellent at clearly communicating and updating me on the progress. There's no way this could have been done without Adele's help. Without hesitation, I recommend her. I feel she would make a positive contribution to anyone she worked with.
I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend A Tidy Mind's services. After reaching out to Maria, all contact with her and her colleague Flora was extremely efficient, friendly and professional. The process was supportive and tailored well around the specific needs of our home. After completing all my Silver Package sessions, a greater sense of order and calm has been restored to our home. I have been working with Caroline on decluttering my house for over a year and throughout that time she has always been very professional and supportive. There have been times when I have felt totally overwhelmed by the task ahead of me, not knowing where to start, but Caroline always gives me the motivation and encouragement to take that first step and to keep going. There have been times when I have felt emotional and upset and have cried in front of Caroline, but she is very empathetic and understanding. Caroline is full of useful advice and techniques and very hardworking. I have always felt at ease working with her, knowing that she is non-judgemental no matter how much clutter I have. I purchased a Bronze package to sort my kitchen cupboards after a WhatsApp consultation with Maria at A Tidy Mind. This meant six hours to organise / declutter in a day. She was very friendly, and I felt we would work well together.
I haven’t used a declutter service before so wasn’t sure what to expect. Maria arrived on time and ready to start. She was very practical in her approach and did not judge me and the amount of stuff I had! I might let her show you the photo we took of all my mugs!
We took one shelf at a time and Maria grouped things together so that it was easy to make decisions on what I really wanted to keep and what could go. There was no pressure to get rid of anything you really didn’t want to. She then suggested the best way to put things back so everything was accessible and had a place, rather than just piled on top of each other.
When we’d finished, Maria took away anything I had for both recycling and donations to charity shops. Very helpful as I always just put bags in the garage for when I have time to take them.
Would 100% recommend Maria. It’s one of those jobs that you put off doing and Maria helps you do it so much better than you could do yourself and I found the whole process therapeutic. It’s so nice having an organised kitchen finally! You won’t regret booking.
